Lakers Insider Reveals Three Possible Destinations For Russell Westbrook In The Upcoming Offseason

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially concluded their 2021-22 campaign with a losing record and without a playoff contention. After a disappointing year, much of the blame now goes to Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook was meant to carry the team without LeBron James and Anthony Davis this season, but that didn’t happen as many fans expected. Now, Westbrook’s future with the team remains uncertain as his name continues to pop up in a number of trade rumors and speculations.

If the Lakers were to part ways with the 33-year old point guard, Lakers insider Jovan Buha revealed that there are three teams that could most likely trade for the former league MVP. Buha named the teams in his appearance on The Forum Club podcast.

 “I guess my top three will probably be again Houston, New York and Charlotte, based on what I’ve heard and what other people have reported,” said Buha regarding potential destinations for Westbrook.
