LeBron James Blasts NCAA Over Ridiculous ‘Rich Paul Rule’

The NCAA issued a memo to agents outlining new certification requirements in order to represent players looking to enter the NBA Draft. The first qualification is that the agent has to have a bachelor’s degree at minimum. They also need to be certified with the NBPA for a minimum of three years and take an in-person exam at the NCAA Office.

The sports’ biggest agent, Rich Paul, founder of Klutch Sports Group, doesn’t not have a bachelor’s degree. Paul not only is LeBron James’ agent, but also one of his oldest friends.

After the NCAA announced their rule changes that would limit Paul’s power and opportunities, James came in to defend his agent and blasted the NCAA, dubbing the new criteria, the ‘Rich Paul Rule’.

“Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop!” James wrote after several crying-laughing emojis. “They BIG MAD and Scared. Nothing will stop this movement and culture over here. Sorry! Not sorry.”
