LeBron James Now Calls Play-In Tournament, He Advocated For Last Year, ‘Sh*t’

Last week, LeBron James gave his long awaited comeback, after the longest absence of his career, having missed 41 days and 20 games since getting hurt on March 20.

But after the game, LeBron James raised some eyebrows when he said that he would never get back to 100% after his injury.

James continues to raise eyebrows after his second game back, too. The Lakers lost to the Raptors and fell to the 7th place in the Western Conference, meaning that they’d currently have to take the play-in detour to the playoffs. After the game, that he had to leave early due to his ankle, the four-time MVP was visibly mad and called the play-in tournament ‘sh*t’.

“Whoever came up with that shit needs to be fired.”

The thing is, that this ‘sh*t’ idea, was something LeBron thought of as ‘great’ last year, when he was the one profiting from it. His opinion did a 180 simply by being the one on the other side of it, now.

Per Yahoo Sports:

“One thing you can’t just do is go straight to the playoffs, because it discredits the 60-plus games that guys had fighting for that position. You got Portland. You got Memphis…New Orleans and Sacramento tinkering around there…so if there’s five or ten games left…why not those guys battle it out? Make them play each other all five games?”
