LeBron James Would Laugh At Being Compared To Stephen Curry, Says NBA Insider Brian Windhorst

Since the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, comparisons involving Stephen Curry and LeBron James have started to emerge. This is because many fans and pundits alike believe that Curry is about to tie the Los Angeles Lakers superstar in NBA championships in a matter of time.

LeBron currently has a record of 4-6 in the NBA Finals, with one victory coming against the Golden State Warriors in 2016. Stephen Curry, meanwhile, is 3-2 in the NBA Finals, beating LeBron’s Cavs team thrice on the process.

LeBron and Curry are perceived as arch-enemies and have met in heated battles a number of times, so debates involving the two players aren’t entirely new. But as far as weighing their places in the all-time hierarchy, NBA insider Brian Windhorst said that LeBron would just laugh at the concept of being compared.

“I’m just imagining if LeBron was here right now and had a glass of wine in him hearing this conversation, the things that he would say would be unbelievable. On one hand, I have to say, if Steph Curry wins the Finals and the MVP, when you talk about a guy with 4 rings, 2 MVPs, and a Finals MVP.

We’re talking about the uber elite in the history of the game, talking about Jordan, LeBron, Russell, stuff like that. Steph would be one of like 5 guys to have ever done that, but LeBron James would laugh at the concept that they’re being compared like this.”
