Marshall Plumlee Turns In NBA Jersey For Army Uniform

Well, this is a unique story, and an even more unique career path.

After his four years at Duke, Marshall Plumlee went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, but eventually signed with the New York Knicks. Plumlee played in the NBA for two seasons, one with the Knicks, and one with the Bucks.

The younger brother of Miles and Mason Plumlee, also was a member of Team USA in 2017 and won the gold medal for his country at the FIBA AmeriCup.

Marshall now decided to serve his country even more and just graduated from Ranger School, while transitioning to an active duty military status.

According to Plumlee, his inspiration to serve in the military stemmed from his childhood just as his desire to play professional basketball.
