Matt Barnes’ Wishing Ex-Wife Happy Birthday Goes Really Bad Quickly

Matt Barnes and his ex-wife Gloria Govan have been in the news more than they wanted to in recent years. After their divorce, Govan started dating Derek Fisher, which led to Barnes beating up Fisher. Other NBA players (familiar with Fisher) are not trusting him anymore. This could also be a possible explanation why he hasn’t gotten another opportunity as an NBA head, or assistant coach.

Now, Barnes wrote an Instagram post to wish his ex a happy birthday and it went south real quick. Govan savagely responded:

“Lmao Matt Barnes, Thank you I think? And yes one can only continue to pray that you take your own advice and learn to peacefully co parent! But until then I’ll see you in court next week because you Love a frivolous lawsuit. But hey lets keep co-parenting.”
