Ever since Nike took over from Adidas, NBA teams have more special edition jerseys again. Especially the teams’ ‘City Edition Jerseys’ have become pretty popular in recent years.
While the jerseys are meant to relate to the community of each squad with color schemes and logos, some turn out better than others.
Brooklyn’s Notorious BIG jerseys, and Miami’s Vice jerseys sold out within days. If this leak of the Mav’s new City Jerseys turns out to be legit though, I doubt anyone will rush to buy them. They are pretty bad and look like if some old person was asked to created something that would speak to the youth, mixed with a Fresh Prince of Bel Air vibe.
