Is Metta World Peace Coming Back For The Playoffs?

Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, has had a great NBA career. He’s been an NBA Champion, an All-Star, a member of an All-NBA Team and 4 All-NBA Defensive teams.

Peace, who now is 38-years old, is still confident in his game, and may be gearing up for a comeback in this year’s playoffs.

Last night, Metta tweeted that he would still be able to produce big time. He said that he could put up 13 a night on a playoff team. 13 a night, that’s about his career average, due to declining numbers over his last couple of seasons.

While I don’t doubt that Peace could have an impact defensively on some teams, scoring 13 points per game seems a little over the top.

MWP has won an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2010. His teammate back then, Luke Walton, was his coach last season. The veteran has spent several years with the Lakers. From 2009 to 2013, and again from 2015 until 2017.
