Mic Picked Up Hilarious Conversation Between Trae Young And Ref Bill Kennedy After Ridiculous Technical Foul Call
Just yesterday, we talked about Jayson Tatum being T’d up for clapping. But while in the meantime, the NBA has rescinded the technical, another questionable T was handed out.
This time, the victim wore an Atlanta Hawks jersey. During the third quarter of the Hawks’ win over the Bucks, Young was called for a technical after doing “too small” gesture towards Jevon Carter. What? Yes, something that almost happens every game without any repercussions suddenly was a T?
Well, it turns out that it was a misunderstanding. Referee Bill Kennedy misheard what Young said and even offered to take back the technical while Carter was already shooting free throws, in a funny conversation the mics picked up.
Trae: “I said he’s too small!? I said he’s too F’ing small.”
Ref: “I’ll take it back then”
Trae: “What do you..”
Ref: “I thought you said call the f’ing foul”
Trae: “I said he’s too small?? You can’t take it back.”
