Michael Porter Jr. Lists His Top Five Players Of All-Time, Says Today’s Players Would Dominate The Past NBA On A Different Level

Michael Porter Jr. is a huge believer that NBA players today are better than ever, and he expressed that stance perfectly clear when he was asked to list his top five players of all-time during an Instagram live.

Naming his top five, the Denver Nuggets forward started off with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James which comes as a no-brainer given the reputation of these three players on everyone’s top five list. Porter then gave the remaining last two spots to Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, ahead of any old-school NBA all-time greats such as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

Porter’s reasoning for this may turn a lot of heads. According to Porter, he’s giving the nod to Durant and Curry because today’s players have gotten better and they would mainly dominate the past NBA if they were transported to that game.

“Top 5 all-time? Mike, Kobe is in there, Bron is in there… All these dudes in this era, I think players have gotten better. So, I’m putting KD in there then I’ll put Steph in there.”

“I love Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, all them dudes. I just think if you put players from this age back then, I think they would dominate like on a different level… Players are getting better and better.”
