National Transportation Safety Board Will Announce Investigative Findings From Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash Next Week

Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people on board the helicopter that crashed and left no survivors in Calabasas, California on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Bryant only flew in helicopters with pilot Ara Zobayan, who also lost his life on that tragic day.

Now, over a year later, the National Transportation Safety Board has finally set a date to announce their investigative findings from the crash. On February 9, these findings will be live-streamed to the public.

Preliminary findings showed no evidence of an engine failure, nor any drugs or alcohol in Zobayan’s blood.

As of now, it is assumed that Zoboyan became disoriented in thick fog, causing him to sink while believing to climb with the aircraft, which led to the tragedy.
