NBA Coach: ‘You Can’t Have A Hot Woman In The NBA. Guys Will Be Trying To F**k Her Every Day’

Last night, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon made history when she became the first female head coach in the NBA, following a Gregg Popovich ejection.

To many, Becky Hammon is a lock to become the NBA’s first permanent female head coach, long before last night. And why not?! She’s got the expertise, skills and ability to lead a team, so gender really shouldn’t play any role. Then again, the NBA is a sexist and homophobic environment at times.

While the best people should be hired for a job, no matter what gender, race or sexual orientation, the NBA apparently has a long road ahead, to make what should be a standard a reality.

Per Tim Struby of SBNation:

You can’t have a hot woman in the NBA,” says one veteran NBA coach. “Guys will be trying to f**k her every day.”

“By and large the NBA is an incredibly sexist environment,” says the veteran NBA coach. “I listen to players talk about women. I have a daughter and it’s sometimes disturbing. But it’s nothing new. It hasn’t gotten worse over the years. In our society there are men uncomfortable working under women and a handful of our players would have a problem with it.”
