When Luka Doncic was drafted in 2018, he wasn’t the only member of his family that gained immense popularity.

Doncic’s mother Mirjam Poterbin also received some of the spotlight because of incredible looks. Poterbin, who used to be a model and even took part in the Miss Slovenia pageant in 1993, took the internet by storm.

Now, during last night’s 2022 NBA Draft, another mother took the spotlight. Dyson Daniels was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans at No. 8, but it was Daniels’ mom who caught social media’s attention.
