NBA Twitter Hilariously Destroys Cast Of ‘The Sterling Affairs’ After First Look

In 2014, TMZ Sports released a recording of a conversation between then-Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his mistress, in which he said:

 

“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. You can sleep with black people. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is … not to bring them to my games”.

 

This thankfully led to Sterling being banned from the league for life and fined $2.5 million, the maximum fine allowed by the NBA constitution. He then also was forced to sell the team.

Then last year, it was reported that FX ordered “The Sterling Affairs”, a docudrama that will be based on the Donald Sterling era of the Los Angeles Clippers and its disgraceful end. Hollywood star Laurence Fishburne will be playing Doc Rivers.

Earlier this week, we were granted a first look at the cast of the show.

 

 

NBA Twitter however wasn’t having it and reacted accordingly, saying that the casting department needs to be fired immediately:
