NBA Twitter Reacts To Nets’ Insane Kevin Durant Trade Package Demand From Wolves
The other week, in a surprising turn of events, former league MVP Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. Nets general manager Sean Marks is now working with Durant and his business manager to find a trade partner.
Finding a trade partner for KD however turns out to be much harder than expected. But this could relate back to the Nets’ insane demands.
The Brooklyn Nets reportedly asked the Minnesota Timberwolves for Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and four draft-picks in exchange for Durant.
Per Yahoo Sports’ Vincent Goodwill:
“I’ve heard that Brooklyn came to Minnesota and said we want Karl-Anthony Towns, we want the Ant-man, and we want four draft picks.”
After NBA Twitter found out about the Nets’ utopian request, they responded accordingly:

So Nets strategy is this: Ask every team for a price that they won’t pay and then get back to KD and say, sorry, You are way to big for Us to send You for nothing.

Anthony Edwards will be better than KD by 2024, if not sooner. If the nets think they’re gonna get something like that for KD, who will be 34 before the start of this season, I guarantee they aren’t finding a trade partner
