Meet Christian Braun, a young basketball player from Overland Park, Kansas, who has been making waves in the sports world. Braun played for the University of Kansas during his college career and declared for the NBA draft last year, where he was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the first round, with their No.21 pick.

Brown is known for his excellent shooting skills and ability to play multiple positions on the court, which has earned him the reputation of being a versatile player.

While he’s just reached the Western Conference Finals with the Denver Nuggets, getting a fair amount of playing time as a rookie, Braun now shared a hilarious story of how he ended up with a $15,000 fine for parking in Nuggets’ owner Stan Kroenke’s parking spots for just a few minutes, before even receiving his first NBA check.

Sure, the rookie made $2,808,600 in his first season, but nonetheless was able to talk the fine down to $2,500.

Braun shared the full story during his appearance on Wednesday’s Rock Chalk Unplugged, a podcast about his alma mater Kansas Jayhawks.
