People Once Thought Isaiah Thomas’ Draft Announcement Was an April Fools Joke

Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas literally started from the bottom in his career, and is still making the doubters eat their words.

Taken 60th overall (last pick) in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, Thomas admits when he declared for the draft on April 1, 2011, people thought it was an April Fool’s joke.

His 5’9″ stature may have had people concerned with his professional basketball plans.
