Players React To Russell Westbrook’s Triple Double Record

One has to acknowledge graciously what Russell Westbrook has been doing this year.

Not only will he end this season averaging a triple double, he also set the new record for most triple doubles in a single season, a record most had thought was impossible to break.

Westbrook’s 42nd triple double of the season against the Denver Nuggets was amazing. He finished with 50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, and hit the winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Other NBA players also acknowledged Russ’ unreal accomplishment and went on to congratulate Westbrook via Social Media:

While Russell’s season has been historic, James Harden’s has been too. It’s come to a point (I would have voted for Harden) where Kobe’s Co-MVP idea would only be fair.
