President Joe Biden Hilariously Forgot Klay Thompson’s Name Right In Front Of Him

When the Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship in 2017, it was obvious that the decade long era of NBA champions visiting the White House would come to an end.

After Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr, among others, publicly stated that they wouln’t visit the president, Donald Trump withdrew the Warriors’ White House invitation. After the team repeated, there wasn’t even a discussion whether they should go anymore. They didn’t want to and probably weren’t invited in the first place.

This was the case for every NBA champion during Donald Tump’s presidency. Ever since Joe Biden has taken over however, teams have started to gladly visit the White House again as NBA champions.

Yesterday, the Golden State Warriors went to visit Washington D.C. and president Joe Biden. Everything went smoothly except for a Biden slip-up that has since gone viral on social media.

The president simply forgot Klay Thompson’s name.
