Raptors Superfan Nav Bhatia Missed His First-Ever Home Game In Raptors History

Nav Bhatia, better known as ‘The Superfan’ has basically been part of the Raptors ever since they played their first NBA game.

Bhatia hadn’t missed one home game in Raptors history. He was in the arena for every single game since the franchise’s debut in 1995. That’s just crazy if you think about it.

But Bhatia’s more than impressive streak ended last night, when the Raptors beat the Knicks. Much like Raptors president Masai Ujiri, Bhatia has also tested positive for COVID-19, after attending the Giants of Africa gala this past Sunday.

While Bhatia isn’t battling any symptoms, he expectedly still missed the game.

“This is the toughest post I have had to make. Ever. Raptors fans I have been there for you and our team since day 1. My heart is breaking right now and all 19,800 of you in the arena are the only ones that can help. I need 2 things from you. No. 1: Cheer as loud as you can for our team! I will be from home yelling and screaming as well! No. 2: Take good care of my friend Kal Penn. I want you all to show him why this is the best fanbase in the league and give him a lot of love tonight. Love you all.”
