Taylor Pate, a writer at RedNationHoops, a Houston Rockets website, tweeted this a few days ago, before the Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul trade:

You all know what happened. Russell Westbrook eventually ended up in Houston after all. Must have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for Pate, but, him not being a celebrity, he doesn’t get any heat for not doing it. But Pate didn’t back down. And the best thing, even his wife is on board.
