Rudy Gobert Won’t Die A Jazz Hero, But Has Lived Long Enough To Become Their Villain Already

Last night’s game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Utah Jazz marked Rudy Gobert’s first appearance in Salt Lake City against his former team.

As a former member of the Jazz , the center won three Defensive Players of the Year awards, and helped them to become a Western Conference powerhouse.

But even though Gobert can be considered a top 5 player in Utah Jazz history, the Frenchman was met with boos. Since you either die a hero, or live long enough to become a villain, Gobert eventually voided for the latter.

At the end of the game, that had already been decided at this moment, Gobert scored one last bucket, received even more boos and was confronted by Malik Beasley.
