Damian Lillard is the last of a dying breed when talking about loyalty. He’s been with the Portland Trail Blazers for 11 seasons now and has set it straight that he wants to remain a lifelong Blazers player. That being said, his loyalty comes at the expense of team success.

Lillard has a record of 22-39 in the playoffs and has only made just one Conference Finals appearance over the course of his career. This year, the 32-year old offensive guard hasn’t had much luck as well since the Blazers currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference at 32-43.

It’s turning out to be another missed postseason run for Lillard this year, and this has led many fans and pundits alike to ponder whether it’s still worth it for Lillard to stay with the team. With this in mind, NBA insider Shams Charania now dropped a major hint on Lillard’s future with the Blazers.

“I think when you look at this [situation] for Damian Lillard… You have to wonder if he’s going to play another game for the Portland Trail Blazers. I expect there to be real conversations this off-season.”
