Skip Bayless Claims Michael Jordan Should’ve At Least 10 MVPs

Michael Jordan, without a doubt, was the best player in his heyday, and his dominant seasons were given warrant by naming him as the ‘Most Valuable Player of the Year’ on five occasions, making him the player with the second most MVPs alongside Bill Russell and behind Kareem Abul-Jabbar.

NBA Analyst Skip Bayless however made a case as to why the Chicago Bulls legend should’ve won more MVPs in his career instead of peaking at five. During his appearance on ‘Undisputed’, Bayless implied that there were great players in Jordan’s era but none of them stood above the Bulls superstar.

“Jordan should’ve had at least 10 MVPs,” Bayless declared.

“It was unquestionably Michael Jordan’s league. It was just case closed, he was the man, he owned basketball…Everybody just knew he’s the man.

When we went past Magic (Johnson) and (Larry) Bird, there was Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing, we have (Karl) Malone and (John) Stockton. I could go on but they paled in comparison [to MJ].

He (Michael) marginalized some great players. They were great players, they put up incredible numbers but they all lived in the shadow of that one guy.”
