Stephen A. Smith Claims Stephen Curry Will Win More Championships Than LeBron James

Stephen Curry is playing his sixth NBA Finals in eight seasons. The 34-year old Warriors superstar was nothing short of spectacular in all three rounds for the Warriors as he put up 25.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game on 44.9% shooting from the field, driving the team to a 12-4 record.

With Curry making another NBA Finals appearance, the question has been raised whether the two-time MVP is tipped to eclipse four-time NBA champion LeBron James in terms of the number of NBA championships in the foreseeable future.

One observer who see it happening is Stephen A. Smith. According to the well-known ESPN analyst, the Warriors are going to win two of the next NBA championships, consequently putting Curry ahead of LeBron when it’s all said and done.

“Not only are Stephen Curry and the Warriors favored to win the upcoming Finals, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith believes that the Dubs will win another title in at least the next two years.

“‘I’m willing to say the Golden State Warriors are winning two of the next three titles,’ said Smith. ‘I believe Steph Curry will eclipse LeBron James and capture five championships in his career, while LeBron is still stuck on four.’”
