Stephen A. Smith Urges The Golden State Warriors To Trade For Kevin Durant: “Can’t Waste The Greatness Of Steph Curry”

As the reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors entered the 2022-23 NBA season dominating most of the early power rankings and were considered as the favorites to win the next NBA championship.

Over 15 games into the season now, things have looked a lot different than what fans initially expected coming into the season. As of this writing, the Warriors are 7-9 and sitting at 11^th place in the Western Conference. They are in a slump and it’s taking a bit of time for players like Klay Thompson and James Wiseman to find their footing.

Amid their tough start, famous NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith now said that the Warriors should make a trade for former Warriors superstar Kevin Durant.

“If you no longer believe in some of those young guys, go ahead and make the trade for Kevin Durant,” Smith said. “You can’t waste, you cannot waste Steph Curry playing like this. You can’t take this for granted.”
