Steve Kerr Takes A Swing At LeBron After The Lakers’ Failed Playoff Quest

The Los Angeles Lakers entered the season with high expectations after adding a third star in Russell Westbrook to pair with their dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Unfortunately, it hasn’t exactly worked out the way others said it would.

With their loss to the Suns last night, and San Antonio’s win over the Nuggets, the Lakers have been eliminated from playoff contention and will finish the season behind the teams like the Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs, who have been marred by injuries just like them.

The Lakers obviously got flamed by people all over the internet, and have been the joke of the league ever since… and that included LeBron James.

While Stephen Curry brutally turned down the idea of teaming up with LeBron James, his head coach, Steve Kerr, now added insult to injury.

During his appearance on 95.7 The Game, Kerr discussed possible starting lineups for the postseason. While doing so, Kerr took a swing at LeBron:

“You know when you get in the playoffs and you need to guard, name it, Paul George or LeBron, well, not this year. Sorry, I didn’t mean that, just a subtle jab.”
