Team USA Players Asked Who Would Shoot Game-Winning Attempt
Team USA blew out Team Australia and reached the Olympic Finals on their mission for their fourth consecutive Olympic Gold.
And we finally got a 15 minutes sample of what Team USA really is able to do. From the 5:23 minute mark of the 2nd quarter to the end of the 3rd quarter, Team USA went on a 48-14 run against Australia – a really good team, that cruised through the Olympics until today. A 34 point swing in 15 minutes is unreal! Team USA was down by 15 (26-41) at the end of the 3rd, they were up by 19 (74-55).
So far in the tournament though, no Team USA game was close enough for one of the players to attempt a game-winning shot. Before the Game against Australia, some of the guys were asked about who on the roster they would want attempt a game-winning shot. The responses are pretty funny.
