The Brooklyn Nets’ Record Setting First Half Against The Warriors

Last night, Kevin Durant and his Brooklyn Nets laid an absolutely historic beating on Durant’s former team the Golden State Warriors.

The Nets came out blazing, leaving the Stephen Curry less defending champions out of San Francisco helpless early on.

In the first quarter alone, the Nets scored 46 points. If we take the Warriors 17 first quarter points into consideration, it not only was the biggest Nets lead in franchise history after one quarter, it also tied for the worst Warriors deficit in their franchise history after one quarter.

The Nets however didn’t stop there and opted to go for another record. Due to scoring an incredible 91 points in the first half, Brooklyn set another franchise record. It even were the third most points in a first half in NBA history, trailing only the 1990 Suns, who had 107, and the 2018 Warriors, who Durant was part of, with their 92 against the Bulls.
