The Greatest Game Nobody Ever Saw

Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson, and John Stockton, Christian Laettner and Clyde Drexler were named members of Team USA in May of 1992.

When the team was preparing for the Olympic tournament, something special happened. Not a real game but a scrimmage three days before the start of the 1992 Olympics from the ‘greatest collection of basketball talent on the planet’.

The Dream Team played a Team Jordan vs Team Magic game. It turned out to be the greatest game nobody ever saw.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Team USA defeated its opponents by an average of 44 points en route to the gold medal.
