Tyrese Haliburton Publishes Must Read Piece On His Trade Called ‘Life Goes On’

For the 1985-86 NBA season, the Kings Franchise relocated from Kansas City to Sacramento, a city the Kings call its home till today.

If we take away the team’s sole successful era between 1998 and 2006, the Kings only made the playoffs twice in 28 years since moving to Sacramento, and not for a single time in the past 15 years.

While it certainly doesn’t look like we’re in for a change this year, the Kings at least had one of the NBA’s most promising young prospects in Tyrese Haliburton. HAD?

Yes, unbelievably enough the Kings traded Tyrese Haliburton, who just said that he’s a member of the Sacramento Kings and he’s here to help fix things, no matter how long it’s going to take, to the Indiana Pacers.

Haliburton, who was as surprised about the trade as anyone, now wrote a nice piece on his trade, the Sacramento Kings and how things went down for him, called ‘Life Goes On’,  in the Players’ Tribune. Definitely worth the read:

So I was like, “Let’s just wait and see what happens in a few days. No big deal. This is fine.”

Next thing I know, not even five minutes later, my phone rings. It’s my agent again.

“Indiana,” he says. “It’s looking like Indiana.”

“What?????”
