Vanessa Bryant Says She Lives ‘In Fear’ That Kobe Crash Photos Will Go Viral

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were among the nine people on board the helicopter that crashed and left no survivors in Calabasas, California.

While this already is the most heartbreaking thing that can happen to a mother and wife, Vanessa Bryant additionally has to “in fear” of photos of the tragedy will “go viral”.

That’s what Bryant wrote in a six-page district court filing Monday that was in response to a motion by the county to have the case dismissed (Bryant is suing Los Angeles County for invasion of privacy).

“I will never be able to shake the anguish from knowing that the officials who are supposed to keep us safe treated Kobe and Gianna with such callous disrespect. For the rest of my life, one of two things will happen: either close-up photos of my husband’s and daughter’s bodies will go viral online, or I will continue to live in fear of that happening.”
