Yao Ming Gives Himself Credit For Tracy McGrady’s 13 Points In 35 Seconds 

When Yao Ming had his jersey retirement celebration in Houston, he had prepared a great speach filled with funny and touching stories.

My favorite story was how Yao Ming remembers Tracy McGrady’s 13 points in 35 seconds. He joked about it with his neighbor, who turned the TV off too early, and told him it was him and McGrady that scored the points.

He started talking about Tracy’s 13 points saying:

“Remember who gave the ball to him [McGrady], when it was 35 seconds left”

Yao then told his neighbor who turned off the TV minutes before the game was over:

“T-Mac and I scored 15 points in the last minute, to turn the game around.”

What a great player, what a great guy.
